Are you in Brighton this Weekend?!

http://www.roundhill.org.uk/main.php?sec=main&p=welcome

Because the Round Hill Society have organised a Street Party on D’Aubigny Road on Sunday 12 June from 2pm. It’s all VERY exciting, and I’m lucky enough to have a stall there, with some of the proceeds going to the Round Hill Society.

Please do come on down, it’d be lovely to see you!!!

Open Studio May 2011

The lovely artist Sam Toft is hosting an Open Studio & Puppet Show again this weekend, THE LAST CHANCE BEFORE CHRISTMAS! 28th & 29th May.

She has very kindly offered a space for me to display and sell my eco-friendly leather goods, and I’ll also have a corset there for you to peruse… here’s a sneak peek at my bits and bobs there {ssssh!!! don’t tell anyone!}

So PLEASE come on down, it’ll be great!

Forgotten Signs Project

Admittedly not always the most observant of walkers (mainly due to daydreaming) I have spied a few old signs in my time that make my brain whizz back through the years and begin to imagine what life would have been like at the time they were in use, or about the people who would have shopped at the places, or taken note of them.

I love that there are so many still around. Perhaps they’re listed? Or maybe people just have a sense of respect for them… Who knows? Anyway, I’m going to photo my favourites and post them on here. I hope your brain takes you daydreaming.
